Placing an Order

  • We highly recommend you book your custom cake at least 1 to 2 months in advance.  Other desserts only require a 2 weeks notice.

  • Although consultations can be made by phone or in person, we prefer if decisions were done via e-mail to Scrumptiouspetites@yahoo.com.

  • If the client submits an image of cakes created by other bakers, it will only be used as a guideline by Scrumptious Petites. 

Initial 50% Non-refundable Retainer / Balance of Payment

  • In order to secure your event date on our calendar, an initial 50% non-refundable retainer is required for any order amounting to over $100.00, with the remaining balance due 3 weeks before the delivery date.  For orders $100.00 or less, full payment is required when placing your order.  If you must cancel your order after the retainer was paid, it can be applied to a future order, as long as, no supplies for your order was purchased.  If any supplies were bought, the entire retainer will be forfeited.

  • All credits, if any, will be at the discretion of Scrumptious Petites.

  • Cash only payments is accepted at this time.

  • Balance of payment must be paid by the delivery date indicated on your contract, otherwise your contract will be null and void, and any retainer made will be forfeited.

  • Any changes to an order must be submitted via e-mail to Scrumptiouspetites@yahoo.com, and requested no later than 3 weeks prior to the booked event date on our calendar.  

  • We will try to accommodate any amendments to your order, but there is no guarantee. and you may incur additional charges.


  • We encourage our clients to pick up their desserts, but transportation may be arranged for an additional fee, availability, and delivery location

  • We are not responsible for any damages to desserts after they are picked-up from our facility, or after the dessert setup by Scrumptious Petites is completed at the event.  All liability for the condition of the desserts will be the sole responsibility of you and/or your representative(s).


Storing Custom Cakes / Desserts

  • Store your cake in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight prior to display at your event.

  • Do not refrigerate your cake before the event, as condensation may cause perspiration and decorations to soften and melt.

  • Leftover cake may last for a few days after an event if properly wrapped with food grade plastic wrap, and stored in the refrigerator in a food grade airtight container, or stored on the counter in a cool, dry place..

Photo Rights

  • We reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion of desserts made for your event by us without compensation to you or your representative(s).


Dietary / Allergens

  • Scrumptious Petites desserts are made in a facility which uses equipment and utensils to mix nuts, dairy and gluten products. For these reasons we are unable to accommodate special dietary requirements involving the aforementioned products, or any other allergens.

  • You hereby agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold us harmless for any allergic reactions as a result thereof.
